CLT Joins Forces with AES Energy and Yunfeng Financial Group to Advance Integrated Clean Energy Solutions, Accelerating Thailand’s Business Sector Towards a Low-Carbon Economy

BANGKOK, 3 September 2026 – Central Laboratory (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (CLT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with AES Energy Co., Ltd. (AES) and Yunfeng Financial Group Limited (Yunfeng) to jointly develop, promote, support and conduct feasibility studies for solar rooftop power generation projects, as well as other energy-related projects and businesses. The collaboration aims to improve energy efficiency, reduce costs and promote the tangible adoption of renewable and clean energy.

The signing ceremony was held at Central Laboratory (Thailand) Co., Ltd., where Dr. Chakrit Tiebtienrat, Managing Director of Central Laboratory (Thailand) Co., Ltd.; Dr. Sakul Kiatjeeravirat, Chief Executive Officer of AES Energy Co., Ltd.; and Ms. Vivien Wong, Senior Managing Director of Yunfeng Financial Group Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. Under the cooperation framework, the three parties will study and assess the feasibility of solar rooftop projects, examine energy demand and analyse electricity consumption patterns, as well as evaluate potential power generation capacity, project viability and return on investment. The findings will inform an energy management approach that is appropriate, efficient and aligned with the organisations’ actual operations.

In addition, the three parties will support the exchange of relevant information, knowledge, expertise and experience. They will also jointly consider other activities or projects that can further the objectives of the cooperation, generate mutual benefits and create opportunities for future business collaboration.

Dr. Chakrit Tiabtheanrat, Managing Director of Central Laboratory (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said: “This cooperation marks an important starting point for systematically integrating sustainable development principles into our organisational operations—from studying energy consumption data and selecting appropriate technologies to managing costs and environmental impacts. We believe that combining the strengths and expertise of the three parties will lead to an energy management approach that strikes an effective balance across business, social and environmental dimensions.”

Dr. Sakul Kiatjeeravirat, Chief Executive Officer of AES Energy Co., Ltd., said: “The energy transition requires cooperation across multiple sectors, bringing together data, technology, financing and expertise in a systematic and interconnected manner. This collaboration will help lay the foundation for the development of clean energy projects that are efficient, economically viable and suited to real-world operating conditions, while serving as a model that can be extended to other energy projects in the future.”

Ms. Vivien Wong, Senior Managing Director of Yunfeng Financial Group Limited, said: “Clean energy is a key mechanism for supporting sustainable economic growth. Yunfeng is pleased to contribute its experience, expertise and business network to support project development, while connecting opportunities in technology, investment and business cooperation. Our aim is to create shared value over the long term and help strengthen Thailand’s clean energy ecosystem.”

The cooperation is expected to benefit Thailand in several dimensions, including promoting the generation and use of renewable energy, reducing dependence on fossil fuels, improving energy efficiency and cost management across the business sector, and supporting efforts to reduce environmental impacts and greenhouse gas emissions. It will also encourage the exchange of knowledge, technology and experience between Thai organisations and international business networks.

The expansion of clean energy projects will also support the related economic value chain—from technology developers and engineering and energy service providers to businesses in associated industries and the development of personnel with specialised skills. This will help enhance the competitiveness of Thai businesses and improve their readiness to meet environmental and sustainability standards that are playing an increasingly important role in global trade and investment.

This cooperation therefore extends beyond studying the installation of solar rooftop systems. It also lays the foundation for an integrated clean energy cooperation model that connects the knowledge, technology, expertise and business networks of all three parties. The initiative is designed to improve business efficiency alongside social and environmental responsibility, while supporting the energy transition, strengthening energy security and sustainably advancing Thailand towards a low-carbon economy.
